I phrased that badly it means ex directory so not in book. We are not in book. I just wondered if it was quite a common thing. well not common as in common , as in quite rare. You know what i mean. Don`t you?

Used to be ex directory when we had the land line. Now we just use mobiles, it's so much cheaper than a certain British Terrible company; rip off merchants.
As we don't have many friends "pay as you go" suits us, no one likes us.....big "ahhh" everybody!

I am not ex dir.I answer to cold callers,they try to sell me things,and I try chat them up.!!!! Well not the boys,just the gals for now hehe.I write back to peeps who stick flyers through my letter box,about clothes collections,and how they a ''real''charity !!! i was unlisted for years my phone# was same as my measurments ha ha we moved had to get new# no one could remember it so i became listed
