& can you get anything from wearing one?

You can get "something" from wearing one.. and that "something" is whats known as nothing.
Thongs are underwear.. and you can start to wear this underwear whenever you feel comfortable. Although its considered skanky to have this type of underwear showing, its mighty disgusting having it showing on someone younger than 12 or 13.
Point: where it whenever you feel comfortable, i suggest buying one. and seriously giving it a "test".

What I wonder is why you would want to.
It's uncomfortable and no one sees you in it.
Some thongs can cause problems so it depends on what kind of material you get, but for the over all society today, people are starting to where thongs as young as 10 or 11. I would say not until you're 14 or 15.

I think about 15. I Know for a fact you can get an infection (unpleasant). Wearing a thong is like having a wedgie all the time. Hope this helps!

Well I don't know if there is a right age.. just about the parents letting their daughter wearing one.. Im 14 now and I wear them..
My friends mum let her at 7 which I think is ridiculous as at that age they shouldnt know what one is lol... and then when I was in year 7-8 i was 11-12 which is when i wanted to start wearing them.. so i persuaded my mum to let me have some lol.. took a lot of persuading though !! lol
You cant get anything from them. Just make sure you keep all clean lol..
Some people find them uncomfortable.. I find them awesome as when I wear them I cant feel them at all.. which once in school did frighten the life out of me when I thought I'd forgotten to put some undies on lol !

The right age? Whenever a girl can get used to untangling her underwear from the dryer, not to mention the wedgie feeling for the first few days.
To all the dummys out there, you can get a yeast infection from thongs! It all depends on how wide the string is (usually the thicker, the less likely of infection). Don't believe me? Ask your gynecologist.

Umm, they make thongs for kiddies, like 6, lol, so you can start at anytime
A lot of girls start at 7th grade so yeah, and if no, you can't get anything, just it might annoy you, different people have different perspectives about thongs.

I would say about 13 or whenever you start high school. Some people feel that they are uncomfortable but they do eliminate a panty line. You cant get anything from them but you do need to keep your undies fresh everyday. If you are prone to yeast infections you probably need something with a cotton crotch.

i started wearing them once I started jr. high, around 10. but only for outfits that required it. now i'm used to them and wear them whenever
victorias secret has really cute ones

well one of ex bfs wanted me to start wearing one b/c he said it looked better on me if ppl couldnt see my pantie line and so i got one. i was like 13
