What race is Yoda ... Lucas has never been able to come up with a name to call him. I guess when there have only ever been 2 of one race then they don't get a name ... lol ... The only 2 of that race have been Yoda and Yaddle ... sadly the race died with Yoda. I haven't been able to find many details about it but for some reason Yoda didn't like Yaddle (hate is to strong a word for the Grand Master of the Jedi Order to use) so they never did anything to continue their race.

Palpatine was undone by his arrogance ... Luke was the son of the "Chosen One" so it stands to reason that he had a similar amount of power and if you go by Anakin, the most powerful Jedi ever, it was pretty high ... he had the potential to become way more powerful than Palpatine but since he hadn't at the time of ROTJ Palpatine dismissed him ... a fatal mistake if I've ever seen one.
