Use a fire extinquisher (spray around base and then move to center), smother with a lid or smother with baking soda. DO NOT put water on it. (It will only spread the hot grease around in droplet form.)

1. get off the computer
2. pour baking soda over it or cover it.
3. know how to do this BEFORE cooking and then you wont have to come run to the computer WHILE THERE IS A FIRE IN YOUR KITCHEN to ask for the answer.
