She was the best teacher I have ever had. I almost became a teacher because of her. I am currently in med school but plan to teach as well, all because of what a great influence she had on me, even though it was so long ago. I found out she retired, and haven't been able to get ahold of her to even send her a card or something. Anybody know what I could/should do to contact her? I just want to give her the biggest thank you ever!

I am sure that she would love to hear from you. Contact the school and ask them to forward a note to her since they probably would not give out her address.

If that fails another way is to contact the retirement system and see if you can get an address from them.

you will have better luck searching for people on myspace.com who went to that school and knew that teacher.
