If your first pregnancy ended in a miscarrige,
is it normal to not care too much for kids after something like that?

Right!
I was excited and everything,
had strted to prepare buying things and stuff for the baby and was reading everything about parenting.
But ever since the miscarrige,I haven't really had no kinda feelings for kids.
I have a niece and I'm feeling ashamed of myself of not caring for her the way I may should.
Is that normal?

Sounds like a normal feeling to me. Sometimes it helps a grieving mother to not think about babies and kids for a while.

I lost my little baby girl to pneumonia earlier this year and for a while I thought only of her....and then for a few more months I didn't want to think about babies.

Then I became pregnant in July...and that helped me to move on. Pregnancy has kept me busy...and hopeful.

Time will help...but be prepared for changes, too. You won't always feel this way.

Sorry for your loss, hon

I don't think in life there are normals. It might be a way of not hurting so much. I have been through 2 and I was so depressed. If you really want to have kids you will love your own children. Some people never do care for other peoples children though. I have a brother in law that doesn't like kids at all.

It sounds like you are suffering from post partum depression. Even though you lost the baby, you still had all the hormones to go with it and added to it all you are grieving the loss of your child, its no wonder you are feeling the way you are. Its perfectly normal in a situation that you are in to not feel like wanting more children and for the time being its not a good idea. In time you will probably feel like trying again and its just a matter of giving yourself that time to heal emotionally.

Everyone is completely different on this planet! That's what makes the world go around. Some people love kids, some people love kids and don't want any of there own, and some people just don't care for kids...and thats all completly fine!
