Washington suggested Thanksgiving be celebrated yearly on Nov. 26th, but Lincoln changed it in 1863...(after the Civil War) to be celebrated on the last Thursday of November!

*Hey that's my birthday...and someone else that is very special to me! Hmmm...now who could that be? hehe *wink* ;o)
