Hi!

I have several friends with implants who have children. From what they have told me, it depends on the size of the breast before the implant. One friend had a medium B cup before the implants, she had no problem breast feeding.
Another friend had very small A cup before surgery. She was unable to breast feed. She is a nurse and told me this was the reason :)

I'm having the same problem with my 6 week old. She used to just nurse on one breast, and I'd pump the other one to freeze the milk. I've also had to start feeding her on both sides and supplementing expressed milk. Don't worry about it, though. She is probably going through a growth spurt. She'll eat almost twice as much during that time. They can occur anytime, and last as long as 2 weeks. Go ahead and feed her and then when it's over you can go back to your regular routine. I thought I wasn't producing enough for my daughter, so I started pumping more, and in between feeds to increase my supply, but it didn't seem to make a bit of difference. She'd still drain me and I'd have nothing left to pump. You should talk to your doctor before formula feeding, because there are things you can do to increase your supply if you really are losing your milk supply.

Yes, usually. So can many women who have had breast reduction surgery. As with everything, there are exceptions.
