The smash one with the metal aliens. We used to run round the playground shouting in silly voices "then they peel them with their metal knives". Happy days!

I loved the Skittles advert, isn't that old, prob about 10/11 yrs not because it was for skittles, but the advert itself was amazing.
I love rainbows, and in this advert, an old guy walks along (a field) pushing a wheel barrow, he then stops and takes a handful of skittles out of the wheel barrow and plants them in the ground, then walks away.
Then suddenly the gound brakes open and a huge rainbow bursts out of the ground and across the sky, and thousands of skittles are pouring down from the rainbow.
A voice over says (sounds like a young childs voice), ''taste the rainbow''.
I've always thought this advert was wonderful, and it has always stayed with me.

It was a spoof advert on a BBC radio play in the 60's:-
"Play it cool at Happirest Mortuary Saloons where our prices will send you to cloud 9" (Chorus) "Edgville man, Edgville!"

I don't know what this has to do with "Comics & Animation", and, given the spelling of your words, I presume you're from the UK, but, here's my response anyway (I'm from the USA):
My mother told me that when I was a toddler, I would "sing-along" to the theme to the 1960's "Mr Clean" commercials, in the same way that many toddlers sing the "Sponge Bob Square Pants" theme! So, given the fact that I'm sure I never sang along with any other commercial since then, I suppose "Mr Clean" wins the "my favorite commercial" award!

It was the oxo advert with the oxo family. Linda Bellingham was the mum. The catchline was "poatoes darling?" said by her son because she wasn't talking to the dad!
I know what I'm on about anyway!

I think it was for oven chips.
I just remember the people on the advert singing 'feed me, feed me now' to the tune of that song from Little shop of horrors.
