My grandmother had her twins vaginally with no problem. Lots of women do, and they breastfeed them as well. Your body makes extra milk. You will get less sleep, for sure, but that just goes with the territory. With twins, everything is doubled.

If you do end up needing a c-section, your milk will come in a little later, but it should not hinder breastfeeding. The "football hold" might be most comfortable for nursing after a surgery. Nursing mothers of twins need extra help around the house and with the babies.

My mom had twins and she just went ahead and had a c section because they say u can push out the frist one then have the second c section but it is really hard on the second baby so she just went ahead a had a c section so it will be easy on her and the babies. breast feeding is really hard with twins u have to make sure u eat alot of good things to produce the milk they will need. they say do one breast for one baby and the other one for the other baby and then put the babies on the other breast the next feeding. Good luck they are so neat to have twins and it can get stressful so make sure u have alot of help.

my little brother and sister is twins and they would not sleep unless they were toouching in the crib. If one of them moved then they both started crying lol

If your doctor will allow you do it natural. I had twins that way. Nothing at all went wrong. Great birth no painful healing after and my labor was only an 1 hr. and 28 minutes. They were my 4th and 5th babies. Trust me after they are born you will have a hard enough time with them you don't want to add pain to that as well. Breast feeding is so hard. But if you keep it up it will be fine. If you need to supplement you can do it at the breast they call it a supplemental nursing system. Medela has one. The very best to you and your two babies. Everyday I look at mine and think wow. It is so neat. and so special.

During my whole pregnancy I knew that I would have a c-section because of the way they were positioned. But it really wasn't bad.

Granted they were in NICU for 10 days, so that gave me some extra time to heal. As far as breast feeding, I tried but I couldn't keep up!

With them being in the NICU I had to pump and when they got home, I just couldn't pump enough for them and they wouldn't latch on. So I gave up on that after about 6 weeks. People who do breast feed twins are miricle workers. LOL It takes alot of work.

Good Luck with everything!! It seems overwhelming at first, but it is more than worth it!

that's a danger to have a vaginal delivery with twins. as long as the two babies (in particular the 1st one) are head down. there is often the prospect of having the 1st infant vaginally and then desiring a c/s with the 2d. many females nevertheless want a vaginal delivery whether that's complicated. As for triplets and extra...that's consistently a c/s without question. bear in mind that any being pregnant the place there is extra then one infant is complicated and intense danger.

All I can tell you is that my mother had twins vaginally and completely drug free with no complications. It's definitely possible to give birth to twins vaginally. And she nursed them, too.
