Ok! I have seen alot of romantic animes (At least I think I have...) Anyway, I need a new one to watch!! I don't care about amount of episodes or genres (But there MUST be romance!!! and I dont like mecha!!!) Please list some romantic animes and it would be extremely helpful if you could: TELL ME WHY YOU LIKE THEM! If you dont tell me why you like them you probably wont get best answer! PLEASE HELP!

I loved all the ones that you like!!
I really like Princess Tutu. It's seems like a kid's show because of the mangaka's drawing style (similar to Gakuen Alice), but the show has a deeper and darker side. The story is about a girl who goes to a ballet school and falls for the "prince" of the school. I thought the romance was REALLY cute and touching. The plot was very original. I've never seen anything like it. I think you'll like it A LOT! Here's an AMV you can watch as a preview. The AMV has won 3 or 4 awards so enjoy!

The other anime that I think you'll enjoy is Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. It's also called Perfect Girl Evolution or the Wallflower (manga). Some moments are REALLY FUNNY and you laugh out loud. Some are really touching! It's about 4 hot guys who live in a mansion together. Their landlady offers them free rent if they can turn her niece, Sunako, into a real "lady". The plot is very similar to Ouran, so I think you'll like it if you liked OHHC. The artwork is very original. The start is kinda weird, but stick with it and you'll be rewarded.

Some mangas that I recommend are Tail of the Moon and Punch! They are both relatively new and I really enjoyed them. If you've never read Beauty Pop, then I think you'll like it as well. The romance is there, but it's really adorable. I admire the clean artwork of Kiyoko Arai!!

First, you're not supposed to say that you'll give ten points for the "best answer"; it's against the Terms of Service for this website.
Second, you're asking for an opinion, so how can anyone have a "best" answer???
Third, you need to be more specific in your question; "Romantic Anime" is not a question.
"Which of the following is your choice for best romantic anime and why?" is.
Fourth, the vast number of users on this website are from the USA, who have not had a chance to view these anime programs, at least not on "standard" cable/dish and broadcast programs, so you're not going to get as many answers as you'd probably like.

Vampire Knight- Yuki Cross is a normal girl in the Day class at Cross Academy. However, when the sunsets, she and her fellow guardian, Zero, must protect the schools biggest secret. The whole Night Class are vampires! One vampire named Kaname, who saved her life once, is among the class. As the year progresses, secrets are revealed and Yuki has to face the secrets head on. Fruits Basket- Tohru Honda is happy, even though she just lost her mom in a car accident, and she is also living in a tent! Definetaly check out Lamune. It is a very relaxing slice of life anime that features a sweet love relationship between 2 childhood friends.
And i HIGHLY recommend Lovely Complex. Best, Funniest, love comedy EVER.
Also check out Kanon (2006). Very atmospheric.
Other romantic anime include Suzuka, canvas 2, Da Capo, Da Capo second season, D.N Angel (very nice), Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na

Girls Bravo; It has a blue haired boy who breaks out in hives every time he is near a girl, a pink haired girl who is from another planet below earth (That has 90% all girls...), a brown haired girl who can really beat the crap out of somebody, a perverted hyper active blonde who flirts with girls, or touches them in 'private' areas. There are a lot more characters, though you'll have to wait and see =]

lol you're a romantic anime-holic aren't you?! I thought you already asked this question. I would put more but I don't have anymore left- I mean I was going to say Eureka Seven but kinda has mecha in it. I would try it if you're desperate for a romantic comedy. I love it, it' a good show.

Hana- Kimi: girl dresses up as boy to be with idol....it's a little cliche, but really funny. it's quite unique in its perpective and i havent found another like it (except for the cross-dressing part)
InuYasha: the first i ever saw/watched. a girl is transported to another time and meets a half demon. some action some romance, magic, kinda violent... but overall really good
Tail of the Moon: this one is cute. the artwork isnt bad either..i havent finished it yet, but the plot seems to be okay
Punch!: this one isn't bad. there's some boxing/fighting in it. and a love triangle
Beauty Pop: this one's interesting. the girl is cool and collected and the guy gets all worked up. includes hair cutting and make-overs. really good
Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend): super funny and really sweet.
Kare First Love: this is adorable. popular boy meets shy girl and they fall in love. very cute
Wallflower: this one is hysterical! 4 gorgeous boys need to make an ugly, horror loving girl into a "lady"
Kitchen Princess: kind of cute, a girl wants to find a boy she met long ago. includes cooking and recipes
From Far Away: a high school girl is transported to another world where she meets a demon-knight... sometimes funny...sometimes action-y
Hot Gimmick: a girl gets blackmailed into being a bully's slave...then her ex-crush comes back. love triangle! the artwork's not as good, but the plot's not bad
Mars: another shy girl and popular boy one...this is just so sweet, the art is great, and the story's really good! Loved this one!
Never Give Up: very funny. a masculine looking girl likes a feminine looking boy...then they begin to model together ..and another guy enters the scene. great art and cute story
W Juliet: another one with a tomboy girl. but this time, the boy has to pretend to be a girl all throughout high school so that he can fulfill his dream. its really sweet and realistic
Basara: one of my favorites, this is set in another world where magic (kinda) exists.two enemies fall in love, not knowing that they are enemies... it can be sad at times, and very emotional...
Sensual Phrase: another one of my favorites, its a little intense.
The Gentlemen's Alliance: this one is just beautiful. its kind of weird, but in a good way.
Juvenile Orion: i don't really remember this one...but i do remember that i liked it a lot...i think its about a magical battle between 2 groups. sorry ^_^;;
Skip Beat!: this is funny...most times. and really good. it's about a girl to wants revenge on her ex-"boyfriend"..and meets a different guy. this is a kinda cliche storyline, but its presented differently
Angel Sanctuary: this one's a little different from the others (and you'll see why). it has darker undertones and can be a little scary....but the art is amazing
anything by CLAMP, Ai Yazawa, or Yuu Watase
they're art is beautiful. Yuu Watase and Clamp have a lot of romantic ones like Chobits and Suki (clamp) and Imadoki Nowadays (Yuu Watase)...Ai Yazawa has beautiful art as well. She drew/wrote Paradise Kiss and Nana...though they're not totally focused on romance
actually, they're all my favorites..but i didnt want to write that down for every single one...and most of them have amazing artwork
most of these are manga....actually, all of them are, but I'm sure you can find them in anime form

i see that you read Gravitation...so that leads me to believe that you like yaoi... if so
Loveless: I love this!! <3 the art is fantastic and story is so complex and wonderful! the anime is kinda bad about it because they end it way too soon (kinda like how Fruits Basket was ended) so you dont learn enough. for this, i strongly suggest that you read the manga... but still watch the anime, its good too. it's a little dark though. its got magic and action and all that
Sukisyo: this one wasnt bad. its kinda cute and humorous. its got some psychological stuff.
Princess Princess: haha this was hysterically funny. i havent finished it yet, but from what i've seen so far, its adorable.
if you want some hardcore stuff....theres always Sensitive Pornograph and Ai no Kusabi...but know your limits because these are extremely intense and some people dont like them. SP has good artwork...but AnK's isn't as good

Yeah! I love romantic anime. I search for good romantic anime all the time. The ones with the most *'s are the best.
***Da Capo***
This is about a girl who is adopted into this family and she is in love with her brother. There are 2 seasons with 26 eps in each one.
****Marmalade Boy****
This one is about a girl whose parents both remarry to this guys parents (her mom marries his dad, her dad marries his mom) and they all live in one house. There are 76 ep. It is all about the love between the girl+guy. There are many other pp making many love triangles.
***Romeo+Juliet***(eps are still coming out)
This is a story of romeo+juliet falling in love but things are different in this story. Romeo's father owes the floating city they live in and Juliet is the last Capulet.
***Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne***
This one is about a high school girl who is a thief that steals art usually because it is made/possessed by a spirit of the devil aka demon. It is about how she meets another thief and falls in love with him. It has 44 episodes.
**Mermaid Melody**
This is about a girl who is a mermaid and her trying to tell the guy she is in love with that she is one. If she goes out and says she is one, then she will turn into bubbles. It is also about her and her friends fighting other creatures. There are 52 episodes.
***DN Angel***
This is about a boy who has a famous thief named Dark who is basically appart of him. Whenever the boy looks into a picture of a certain girl he transforms into Dark. Dark steals art work to seal away evil things inside it. This anime is also about the main boy being in love with this girl. There are 26 episodes.
****Kodocha****(I like this one a lot but it is about two kids)
This anime is about a energetic girl who is a famous child actress. It is about how she stands up to this boy in her class, helps him fix some issues he has, and how she falls in love with him. Her mother is very funny. This was one of the first anime I saw and it is one of my favorites. There are 102 episodes.
