I took a tour of Yankee Stadium. It is totally worth it. I am 13, but I was like 11 when I took the tour. I went with my baseball team and we got the full tour of the stadium and then we went down on the field and met Joe Girardi (then bench coach) and some other Yankees staff. Then we had catches with them and the whole experience was awesome

Yes, I was lucky enough to go on a school trip (from Long Island) to Yankee Stadium and the Bronx Zoo when I was a child, and I went on a tour again as an adult. Been a Yankee fan since I was in diapers, so it was truly incredible- especially Monument Park and the clubhouse. I'm going again next year before the new stadium is opened (don't live in NY anymore)
I've also toured Camden Yards, Dodger Stadium, Jacobs Field, and Shea stadium, as well as the old Veteran's stadium in Philly. Anyone who is a fan of a team should take a tour of the field- it's great to see all the behind-the scenes stuff and connect with your team.

The dear wife and I toured The Ballpark In Arlington some years ago. It was quite entertaining, well worth the price. Got to see a skybox, the press box, some of the underground utility tunnels (large, well-lit, big enough for trucks, which do drive around down there), the Rangers' batting cages (saw Dean Palmer working out, recovering from his nasty bicep injury -- didn't interact, he was of course working, but it was neat watching him swat away), and the home dugout. That was, to me, an amazing view -- the huge seating bowl all around, the field at eye level, first base and the mound just feet away.
Another time I got to do a postgame run-the-bases, which was also good fun, just for the feeling of being on a genuine major league diamond, even for but a minute or two.
Even setting aside the fame and fortune, playing baseball has got to be one of the two or three greatest jobs in the world.

I took the tour of Fenway Park back in the summer of 2006. It was fan appreciation day while the team was off for the all star break and they had old time players there signing autographs. The tour was amazing and it included the press box,Red Sox hall of fame, and a chance to be up on the green monster. After the tour, me and my kids went across the street and got autographs from Johnny Pesky and Frank Malzone as well as Joe Morgan. We had our picture taken with the World Series trophy from 2004 and met Hazel Mae from NESN sports. It was a great day and we will never forget it!

I toured Yankee Stadium several times. I used to attend games as a teen and sat in the right field box seats near the bullpen. In between innings Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle used to chat with each other and the fans.

I took a tour of the Dodgers stadium as I was a deep blue fan for many years. Still am in some ways but your excursion sounds like fun. Think of the history.

Having worked at Busch II from 1989 to 1995, I knew basically every nook and cranny of that stadium. In my 3 months of working for the Reds in 2000, I got to know Riverfront Stadium/Cinergy Field fairly well, too. Both venues are now memories and I haven't been able to visit any other MLB parks in detail.
