I notice in myself that the way I face life very much depends on my music selection.
In ancient literature, there are multiple references to music being the thing that can cloud minds and sway people.
I've so far tried to believe that I am in control of my views and leanings no matter what music is playing.
But, are we?

It is true that music affects one's emotions. Whether the effect is demonic or not depends on the type of music. I do think modern music has had an evil influence on many people since the late 1950's. It has a frenetic rather than a soothing beat. I have a little song going in my mind most of the time but they are tunes that were popular in the USA during the big-band, swing era of the 1940's and 50's. They are songs about love. Those tunes influence my moods to be mostly happy and positive.

I think most modern music, especially hard-rock, protest tunes and rap, has a negative content and can't help but have a detrimental influence on the emotions of those listening to it. I think this is one reason there is an epidemic of depression, bi-polar psychosis and teen suicide in the USA.

Good listening, good mental health, peace and Love!

I must admit that most of the time music disturbs me. I never find the right music at the right time. So I like silence.
Only dance music makes me happy.....

But i know that music possesses demonic power e.g. for certain religious people who by music fall into a trance and loose their selfcontrol.
Other music fans get in a high mood by hearing their favourite composers/singers.
