Which would you rather hear on your radio?

Question

Four hours of music striaght, no matter how bad it may be; or four hours of a talk radio host who is a classless loudmouth, definitely speaks against spanking children and other forms of corporal punishment (basing this on past experience, saying parents must be BOTH parent and friend at the same time), says bad things about certain members of the opposite sex, says whatever comes to his/her mind without thinking of the consequences, offends some of his/her listeners who definitely won't agree with these views, and you basically think is a total annoyance who shouldn't be on the radio at all?

I get stuck on the freeway here all the time and got into talk radio Adam Corolla Show- LOVE, Frosty-Heidi-Frank-LOVE they are both laugh out loud funny with great topics, but when it gets to Tom Lykis later on I turn it off- he is a pig like you described above with a listener IQ of 15...When I first heard that show I was shocked he was on the air saying what he was saying about women, and the advice he was spewing to ignorant boys...When I told my guy friend that turned me onto the other radio shows he just laughed and pulled up an internet picture of Lykis and we both had a good laugh- thank god for radio or he would have zero audience!! But if there is nothing good on the radio music wise I would rather sit in traffic in silence than support that garbage..

I'd rather listen to the four hours of talk radio. I love talk radio even when I don't agree with the host. If you can't listen to opposing ideas then you are just a one track mind and whats the fun in that? Sounds like you are describing a particular host that you really don't like, lol.
p.s. to the chick who doesn't like tom leykis,
how can you not like his show? It's great! Just admit what he says is true because sweetie, it is. Don't lie to yourself.

I like some talk shows even though the host is very up himself I live in the UK and one show called talk sport has at least 2 that cut people off if they disagree with them and are very rude but because they get such a lot of callers they get away with it .The more callers the more money the station gets.x

Classical, Jazz and progressive Rock stations. sounds like there are none right here. 3. i elect to hearken to what the DJ desires to play, no longer what some previous adult adult males in a room think of alternative persons elect to hearken to. 4. i do no longer elect to hearken to; interference, classified ads of any form... or a minimum of much less : 5. not greater company radio stations. greater deepest radio stations. playstation . did you be responsive to there replaced right into a time while DJs used to herald their records to the station to play on-air? It depends on my mood, but most often I love talk radio. I can listen to smart talk about anything with a some witty commentary all day long.

I'm not a fan of most talk as most are overblown stars in their own minds and I think anyone who has confidence can do some of those kinds of shows...

But personally the music as the talk radio gets aggravating as most talk radio will not take people on who disagree with them.
