Out of the popular pizza chains, I strongly prefer Papa John's pizza - for all reasons, really. The bread, sauce, cheese and toppings are all good. I love their veggie pizza, the spinach alfredo, and the supreme. The sausage and cheese isn't really that great, but it's edible. Pepperoni is always good.
When I was a kid, Pizza Hut was my favourite, it had a great taste. But then they closed down and I didn't have any for years. As an adult, when I finally got a chance to eat at Pizza Hut again, I found the pizza very unappealing. I'm not sure if I just grew out of the taste, or if Pizza Hut made changes to their methods of cooking and their ingredients over the years. I expect it was Pizza Hut that changed. In any case, I really don't like them anymore.
Little Caesars is pretty good, and probably my second choice of the chains.
Dominoes is ok, but not my favourite.
The only pizza place I've found that I absolutely hate and cannot stand to eat at all is Sir Pizza. I don't know how anyone can stomach their food, let alone enjoy it. It's horrible.
My very favourite pizza, though, is California Pizza Kitchen. Their pizzas aren't just marinara and standard toppings, there are lots of options. Mushroom and white cheese, or carne asada, or shrimp scampi, etc. Local pizzerias are also good, and preferable to chains. They often offer more variety.

Dominos is too thin so i dont like it, never tried papa johns or eagle boys but ive heard they arent that crash hot either. i prefer Pizza Hut. great toppings and the pizza's come with a sauce.

I think it is a tie between Papa John and Pizza Hut. They both are very greasy (not complaining at all!). All you need is to wipe off the grease and they are both really great. Maybe Papa Johns is a little better.

Westshore Pizza has the best!!
Papa John's is second place.
Reason: They just have good pizza.

Pizza hut for sauce and crust and papa john's for toppings. Papa john's crust is only OK and the sauce is way way way too sweet as they add a lot of sugar to try and get you hooked. Papa John used to brag about replacing the tomato in the tomato sauce with sugar in some of his commercials. He also had one where he replaced the sage in sau(sage) with sugar too. So order the spicy sausage on a papa john's. Never use the sauce that comes in jars - those sauces contain more sugar that hershey's chocolate sauce.
