My mom quit washing mine when I turned 18 which is fine because I don't usually sleep at home anymore. She doesn't approve of my tom catting around and I'm tired of hearing about it.

Two weeks unless we have whoopee. Then, next day.

We wash bed sheets every fortnight if not every week.

Even though you don't sleep on the bed too often, there is always dust there.

Also when you are not removing the bedsheet you are inviting spiders or other insects on your bed as you must have seen with things at home which if not cleaned for sometime gather dust on them and can have webs and other tiny insects somewhere in/on them.Only difference is it is hard to see the dust on bed sheets.

I think your Mom wants you to take responsibility of yourself.

As for as "tom catting" and all you are grown up and do as your conscience allows.(listen to it)

Always once a week, usually every Saturday. I guess it's from my mother making us do that every Saturday as part of cleaning our bedroom. I used to also think I HAD to make my bed, due to her raving about it when we were kids. Sometimes, at 40 years old, now I don't, just to spite her. Our bedroom is visible from our living room, so you know that has to make her crazy when she comes over!

Sounds like you are ready to move out on your own and give your mom a rest as she is probably tired of saying what you are tired of hearing!! Best of luck

Well when mommy took care of me she also made sure I was able to take care of myself so I made sure my sheets were washed every week, and I was the one who did them.
