this snake was found in the backyard of a suburban louisiana home......my cousin's house actually.......and we dont know where it came from.....is this a real cobra? or just one of those snakes that can flatten its neck?....if anyone knows.....then answer!!! ^_^

There are no cobras in Louisiana or any other part in the United States That is a eastern hognose snake. They can flatten their heads like a cobra when they are threatened. They are not venomous.
