Sexual orientation is not necessarily static, but often is set when the gender hormones necessitate the setting of patterns, which steers our choices.

For me, it was there at the age of 9, and there were "clues" right on up through high school and beyond. Depends I guess, someone slightly homosexual would probably find out in his late teens, while someone really really really homosexual would probably even notice it as a toddler...
