who's Barry Bounds? If you mean Barry Bonds he's gotten farther in his life then you'll ever get. Bonds is one of the best players ever to play the game. He did everything well, he could hit for average, he drew walks, he hit homeruns, he stole bases, and he played great defense until he got a little bit older.
People will always have a negative opinion about him is because the media portrays him as someone who doesn't care about the media! Wow, just because a player doesn't want to share every thing that happens in his life he's too full of himself and deserve to be treated negatively. Ask any of his teammates and they'll say something totally different unless you're someone like Jeff Kent, but that's only because not every personality is going to fit with people. So people who hate him or say he is a loser don't know anything about Bonds except for what the media tries to portray him as.

I wouldn't say that he's a loser (and I'm a huge Dodger fan), but he is certainly not a winner. His teams made only one World Series appearance, and although he had a great, great series, the Giants still lost to the Angels in 2002.
He also made one of the weakest, crappiest off-line throws in baseball history when he failed to throw out Sid Bream in the bottom of the 9th inning in Game 7 of the 1992 NLCS. Bream was so slow that he was timed with a calendar when he ran, instead of a stopwatch. A strong, accurate throw would have sent the game into extra innings. The one chance he had the be "The Man", he failed miserably.
He is without a doubt one of the best players in baseball history, but will always be known as a lousy teammate and a self-centered jerk. Flakseed Oil? Yeah, right.

Yes, a loser, a liar, a racist, a cheater, a crybaby, a phony. He was only interested in beating out McGuire and Ruth because they were white. He didn't care so much about Aaron. At least Ruth and McGuire got to play in the World Series while Bonds gets to play with himself.
