becauce i cant use escalators.

When an escalator has malfunctioned there has to be an alternative. So although most UK airports have escalators somewhere in the building (Stansted seems to have some that breed - there are more each time I fly out of there), there will be stairs and a ramp or a lift for wheelchair users nearby.

Definitely not. I used to live in a small town that had a domestic airport and you were lucky to have stairs, so definitely no escalators there. The only way to get to the planes to was across the tarmac! If you can't use escalators as you say, the ones that do, provide stairs nearby also.

No, there are tons of tiny airports all over the world.
At times there is no need for escalators.
Although most large airports will have them.
If you are going to a large reputable airport, They will most likely have escalators to suit you.

The answer is no!.... some of the small provincial airports are on ground level and only one landing strip. Most of the international ones do though

nopee in smaller places they dont
in st croix the air port has like 8 terminals and when you get off the plane you walk to inside the airportverus getting off in the airport
also baggage claim is outside

all of the big well known airports do, but most of the private ones dont, beacuse their too small.
