RACIST? Let's face it, many people don't have a clue what's going on when they blindly follow the orders of others...without question! This ATTITUDE of what is & is not correct seems to have many people on their way to slaughter because they are no longer able to see what lies ahead of them & they have no knowledge of what was behind them.
IS HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF? With a new form of racism based in thought only? Unfounded & unproven?

well......... Even though your use of the term "racist" is off (because you're simply not discussing race- if you were comparing the degree to which one race was like cattle versus another, then you might be edgying up to racism) I would say that the whole notion that humans as a species are not sooo much more sophisticated than other, supposedly less intelligent species is accurate. It is the realization that we have big egos based on the advantages (differences) we have over most common bovines and the like because we like to feel important and in control. How long did we believe the earth was the center of the universe, afterall? It is human nature to assume we rock so much harder than everything else and place ourselves above nature. You and me baby are still just nothing but mammals, so remembering that over the course of time we transcend our more basic nature very very slowly and do tend to do things for the most part like they do it on the Discovery Channel is useful in voicing frustration with the masses that we intellectual types who exam such things like to be impatient with.

A lot of people only seem to see enough history to support their views, but ignore long-term patterns that don't fir their agendas. As a result, they do tend to repeat mistakes of the past; I see a lot of ths anti-immigration sentiment as just a rehash of the 1920s and late 1800s.

I don't see a racist angle to this at all, unless one wished to attribute this trend only to one ethnicity. I don't.

No you are not racist.

BTW, why are you a like a heifer blindly following the idea that racism can exist apart from prejudice based on skin color?

Cattle sounds good as human beings do have a herd mentality. Sheep is also a good one. Oh, and you're right about history repeating itself. Not too many learn from other's mistakes.
