Your placenta maybe in front instead of in the back or up top. If it is in the front it is really hard for you to feel the baby.

You barely start feeling the child move at 4 months of gestation and your just a little over that.
Question to you.
They heard the heart beat.
What are they going to do for you? When is your next doctors appointment.? You might want to call and make an earlier appointment if it would comfort you. But the fact is there really is not much in this stage that they can do for you.
If in the worst case senario you have lost the child they could abort it but on the best case senario the child is just a calm child and the heart is beating....my daughter worried so much about this at your stage also that it wasn't moving as much as her other first child and she ended up with a very healthy happy baby girl that has a gentle spirit but very healthy all the same.
Drink something very cold and lay down in a calm environment and see if you don't feel it. That will also stimulate the child to move.

It could be that your placenta is placed at the front of your uterus which causes you not to be able to feel the baby's kicks. But usually by now (and considering this is your 5th pregnancy) you should be able to feel your baby kicking. Make and appointment with your doctor if you are worried. Or you can even buy a doppler to moniter your baby's heartbeat daily!

I have 4 children. I felt the most kicks and movement from the first 2.

I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. but just to reassure yourself, contact your doctor. They should see you right away. The doctor will listen to the heartbeat and assure you that your baby is fine.

Don't hesitate to go to your nearest women's center at the hospital and have them hook you up the the monitors to make sure your baby is okay. I did this at least 5 times while I was pregnant. If you don't feel your baby moving and you think something is wrong, as a mother, you have every right to worry and go to the hospital.

You might just have a calm baby. Enjoy it. My sister in law got kicked over 100 times an hour and my niece is SEVERE ADHD.

every pregnancy is different but if you have any doubt you should contact your doctor. I'm 18 weeks and just started feeling the baby flutter.

Perhaps you can just recognize them better. Actually with my second and later pregnancies, I felt the first braxton hick contraction at only 8 weeks.

Well to be honest the more kids you have the less likely you are to feel them move so much. your body now realizes what is going on and you tune it out . so i am sure you feel him/her move you just dont realize it. if you are that upset call the doctor
