I am having a girl i love all three names but cant pick.
Giavanna (gee-uh-von-uh)
Gianna (gee-on-uh)
GiGi (Gee Gee)
or
GiGi with the french pro. Zhee-Zhee

Since both Gianna and GiGi are commonly used nicknames for Giovanna -- assuming "Giavanna" was a typo, especially if you're using the name to honor Italian heritage ;) -- it seems a simple solution would be to use formal, full version Giovanna on the birth certificate and figure out later which short form seems the best fit. ;)
In other words, no need to choose! You can easily have all three.
Edit: Forgot to mention, but I'd avoid the French pronunciation of GiGi. After all, Giovanna being so obviously Italian, "Zhee-Zhee" seems a bit off, if you know what I mean. ;)

I like Gianna and you can use GiGi for a nickname.
Giavanna is too much of a mouthful and GiGi is fine for a child but I can't see it as an adult name as much as Gianna- besides, if you went with GiGi, you can't shorten down to much other than "G"

I like Gianna the best, it is the most classy but still has a cute and fun twist to it. Gianna also sounds great with the middle and last name! Good Luck!

Either Giavanna (my favorite) or Gianna. I dislike GiGi alot. It just doesn't sound like a real name.
I think that Giavanna Elyse is a beautiful name. I love it.
