I am having troubles ppl. If anyone can help me, i'd really appreciate it. I know how to make a reqular sized stencil but i have no clue what so ever how to get the stencil to fit the t-shirt. The design is a face of a celeb, Lil' Wayne to be exact.. and its going to be airbrushed and cover most of the shirt, but how do you do that?? I heard something about a shield guard...what the hell is that?? lol.. i would REALLY appreciate it, if someone can give me a pointer of 2 on how to do this.

The two forms of stencil material I used for my old custom airbrush tee shirt busines were Manilla folders, for those stencils that didn't require fine detail and could withstand repetitive use, and, a material called "frisket" which was a flexible, thin plastic material, which is laminated on a thicker, transparent backing. Frisket comes on rolls and in a variety of widths.

The frisket stencil was cut with an EXacto blade, removing, only, the thin plastic. Either the "negative," or the positive parts were removed, to mask out various parts while the different colors were sprayed. The material had a slight, self adhesive quality, and could be applied, lifted, and reapplied a few times. It was, somewhat fragile, so could not last very long.

Should be available at most art supply and craft stores.
