NJ only has full service gas stations. Self-serve here is, believe it or not, ILLEGAL. There's one other state that has the same law, I think its Oregon. BTW, in NJ its 25-30 cents cheaper per gallon than it is in PA where its all self serve, and almost 50 cents per gallon cheaper than NY.

I do miss them 'cause it's hard getting to my windows. I drive a Pathfinder and can't reach that far into the window. The middle is always dirty. lol. The last time I went to one was when I noticed I really needed gas and since I didn't know the area I stopped at one in an upscale Paradise Valley station. I only had the young man put five dollars in because the gas was so expensive. I couldn't tell if the gauge moved but, it was enough to get me to another station. I miss the good old days of cheap gas and cheap fun things to do. Can't even go to a ball game nowadays without spending a hundred bucks.

all of the gas stations in the state of Oregon and New Jersey are full service because it is illegal to pump your own gas there. It's a state law. I live in Texas and there are one or two full service stations in the smaller down home towns. But not to many anymore and the gas is usually twenty to thirty cents higher than anywhere else.

We have one station near me that has full service on half their pumps.
All gas stations in Oregon are full service by law. Gas sells for about 20 cents more because of it.

I haven't seen a full service station in forever it seems. I remember when it went to self serve and people were freaking out because "oh god I'm playing with gas" and they were all nervous and stuff. Funny.

They exist in my town. Some women here don't know how to pump their own gas. They don't want to know either.
