Yes, it exists. I experience it often. I cannot tell you why, except to say that I believe people who practice it have an inferiority complex. They may also be envious, as in the case of the Caucasians with tanned skin, collagen injected lips, fat injected hips, and a claim that African-Americans are beneath them.
Other than extreme cases where someone gets injured due to a hate crime, there is not much in our society to discourage such socially retarded behavior. It is unfortunate, but since we have the right to free speech, there is not much we can do about it; unless that speech is classified as a terroristic threat of some kind.
Just keep living and spreading love. Make your own world as hate free as possible.
If you meant to say list some examples of racial prejudice, you can just read some of the answers you'll likely get to this question. Those who deny its existance the loudest and claim that African-Americans want something for "nothing," (I don't consider 400 years of chattle servitude, nothing) are probably the most bigotted. Also those who want illegals ousted, when their ancestors initally came and worked here as foreigners once too.

Racial Prejudice Today

2016-10-19 05:24:57 · answer #3 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

First off I think there is a real problem understanding what "racism" really is vs what it is not. I wouldn't say it's gone, but it's definitely not like it used to be. People use their race as an excuse for failings in other areas that they aren't up to par on. It's as if unless they get a free and easy ride to the top with a guarantee of success then it's because of "racist" people......couldn't possibly be because of their own personal failings. Tell someone to pull their pants up and your "racist"....don't pick some one of a different race first and you're "racist"......don't like a certain type of music and your "racist"....want your laws enforced and your "racist". It's gone beyond insane to mean your racist if you just don't approve of everything any other race of people does.

Your race (and sex) is a valid question when you are filling out health forms. Each and every "race" has health problems and strengths directly related to whatever their "race" is. Just like there are different issues pertaining to health dependant on your sex and age. We are not clones and we are all not identical....noticing the differences isn't "racism".

I remember when blacks weren't allowed to do things. Kept from it. Not allowed to play on a baseball team because they were black. Now they are. I was watching the world series and every race was on those teams. Everyone has a chance.....no-one has a guarentee of success. It just seems it's expected that every other race but white should have a guarenteed shot at the top before the white are allowed to try in order for it to be "fair". Well.....that's not what not being "racist" is about.

I have been passed up because there were other races of people who did a job better than me and deserved it. I have also been passed up, not because they were better qualified than me but simply because of their race.

I suppose it will always be there in one degree or another because we aren't identical clones. If it's not race it will be something else. Race is just the most obvious excuse either way.

None of these (so called) answers come close to tell what racisms Blacks say is. With the exception of peanuthead, the rest are either idiotic views of racisms or views of what says is racism based on there limited experience.

The question is, what true racism do Blacks, Latinos, Native American and other (evil whites as some call those of European decent )/ I am one of those so call evil Whites. Having been born in 1947, I witnessed the 1960s and the progress of the Civil rights of the Blacks.

Slavery was legally abolished on Sept 22 1862 when Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation declaring that all the slaves in rebel states were free. I understand and accept the historical fact(s) that Blacks were not truly free after the Civil War due to Jim Crow laws,

Jim Crow laws were eventually done away with due the decisions handed down by the Supreme Court and the Civil Right Act(s). Any racism claimed to still exist according to Blacks is that of various individuals both Black and other races.

There is so much belly aching with in the Black community about so called racism. I for one am sick and tired of hearing Blacks claim racism when I have yet hear of anyone within the Black community publish a list of racism that they still exist.

Of course you have the likes of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan (to name just three) who are always looking for any opportunity to flames the hatred and racism of so many within the Black community.

November 28, 1987 was first nation wide appearance Al Sharpton on the racial scene when Tawana Brawley claimed to have been raped by several White men. It turned out to be untrue, yet set the stage for Al Sharpton and his love of fanning the flames of racism from within the Black community.

Jesse Jackson is no better and Louis Farrakhan, he is no better. At least Louis Farrakhan is up front with his hatred of Whites. As for the KKK and other white supremacist groups are no better. Like the aforementioned, so called leaders of the Black community the KKK and white supremacist groups fan the flames of racism.

Racism exists in all racial groups which directed towards those outside of their own racial group ( community). I am sick and tired of the racial hatred coming from all racial community.

As for reparation called for by the so called leaders of the Black community, forget it. No one with in the Black community who is alive today were no enslaved and never have been. Show me a Black person living today who was enslaved prior to the Emancipation Proclamation and I will gladly support that individual(s) right to receiving reparation.

Yes it still exists
Because women are the main influencers when it comes to racial predjudice & pride.
Look at the commercials and count how many wht/blk women you see. I honestly believe that women are the masterminds behind the media because they teach, influence and mind bend their viewers.
I'm a blk (Heterosexual) woman who loves (men) and women of all races and I can't see myself promoting only one race of people to sell my product etc.

I believe that women (no matter what color) are a lot more envious and beauty competent than men are.

Ku Klux Klan, having to write down your "race" on health applications(very un-necessary to the point of racism), having a TV channel for black people(very excluding to some "races"), the neo-nazis and the list just go on and on. It really is silly how out-dated some peoples views are...
