we start a new day because we have to. why every day we are doing all this things. what is our expectation from life. i post this Q because i want to know from different angle. if anybody think this is a stupid Q then i am sorry.

After necessities (food shelter clothing) People want a purpose in life, to be remembered after they are gone.

What is your expectation from life? Unless you know, you cannot answer for others. Is expect ion of yours determined by someone else? Generally, yes. You want a good job because such a thing is out there. Good wife/husband as well, huh? Rather the one you love to become a good wife/husband of yours. Good children with her/him. I think you have good parents so you don't have to consider you should have good parents; maybe they're not too rich so you might wonder if they had more money so they could educate you better, buy all the things you want, give big pocket money, etc.
Certainly, different people have different answers. But they can reconcile within an adjective - GOOD. Rather two - All GOOD. Or three - ALL GOOD FOREVER. Or four - ALL GOOD CONSTANTLY FOREVER.
So we don't have to die in the end; this is what the majority want. Sadly we can't be like that. So we will.

This planet is where all the people too rotten to live on any of the enlightened planets were dumped. If you want to get out of here and reincarnate someplace better, do the improvement.
Of course. an enlightened being might just choose to be reborn in this festering sump-pit in order to help the deluded learn.

i think its because millions of people satrt life believing they will fufill thier potential to change the world/become god/be rich etc etc and then spend our adult lifes dwelling on people who fulliled thier potential.
but all in really want in life is my girl and i got her. so im content
