That is a standard battery (not extended life) for a Thinkpad T4x or R5x series laptop.

They have different codes to show which manufacturer made the battery. The key info here is the "92p1087"

first line is the nominal voltage which is 10.8 volts; this means that the battery voltage during typical useful voltage is around 10.8 volts; it will be higher or lower depending upon how much use it has had without stationary power

second line is the Field Replacement Unit part number; this is the number you use to order a new one if you need a new unit; many companies use a FRU # and the units so identified are often packed by the part maker in containers suitable for individual shipments.

third line is the assembly part number; this is the part number that identifies the unit during assembly and for the factory to identify the part for purchase; because assembly factories usually order in very large quantities, the units are packed for factory use and not wrapped for individual resale. The item is the same as the FRU # except for the packing.

the fourth line is a weight; 43 grams seems light but it may be accurate; I suspect the last # is a serial # but do not know.

Now to answer your specific question, go to the IBM web site and type in the FRU; they will tell you which units it is designed to power. You may also try a search engine and see what it tells you.

(Remember that IBM sold its pc business to Lenovo so you may find yourself on the Lenovo site or find the Lenovo name used instead of IBM)

I beleive this battery works on the T and R series notebooks but check this out yourself.
