These are the stereotypes that I have come across, just to point out, this is NOT my opinion! : )

Eldest child : The sorted, strong one, they follow the 'normal' pattern of how life/growing up should be. And are favoured by the parents.
Middle child - The problem child!
Youngest child - The spoilt, molly coddled brat!
Only child - Very spoilt, confident and possibly quite loud.

No
The Eldest- Me. I'm quite a high achiever-I don't get into badness. I'm not 'favoured' though.

Middle Child-My brother. Definitely not a problem child. He is quiet, does his work, plays football, goes out but doesn't get into bother....he is easy going.

Youngest Child- My other brother! Can be a little spoilt but is a very hard worker, hates school, loves outdoor work! He isn't loud but can be SOOooo annoying and Mum usually take his side!

So so so wrong.
I'm the youngest first to get married and buy my own home
2nd boychild isn't far behind we are similar
3rd child boy is a homosexual and a free spirited dreamer
the eldest 29 3 children to 3 different men, no house, no partner, been done for driving without a license 2 times and just been done again, this time drunk driving without a license. She is a dickhea* that just does not want to grow up.

well I'm the youngest and my siblings do say that i was spoilt when i was younger but i think that's just because the age gap between us is quite big and dad earned more money by then , but i was never considered a spoilt brat ....my oldest sibling was considered the troublesome one and my middle sister the one with her head on her shoulders, but now i think we have all grown into quite nice adults who love and respect each other .. :)

Only child. I was spoilt rotten but I'm not materialistic or selfish; in fact quite the opposite. I have only gained in confidence since my 30's, thanks to the Open University. I am definitely not loud!
The so called "experts" change their theories so often it can make your head spin. I suppose 1 out of 3 isn't bad.

In some ways yes I'm the youngest of four with big age difference, I'm closer in age to 5 of my niece's and nephews than brothers and sister, I was spoilt by them all, was a bit of a handful, only I'm sensible, goodhearted and am the closest to my Mum, so bit of them all.

Pretty much. Out of the three, I am the youngest, but deffinately not spoiled. Big gap though between middle and me. The other two are a perfect fit.
