Ironman matches are the most underrated matches of all time in my opinion. They are hardly used and people do not really like them, although I can't understand why. Ironman matches get you more and more excited as the time runs out, like if the score is tied (2 - 2) and there is 1:30 minutes left, that would surely excite me.

I have not seen a Ironman match that I can remember since I first started watching wrestling 2 years ago. I really like um and they should be used more, they can be the best matches ever if used properly.

Do you Agree or Disagree?

Funny Jayjayyyy, not.

If they think that, then why have any matches? After all, people may not like the wrestlers in the matches enough to watch it.

They make matches so people that watch um will be glued to it to see if the wrestler they hate will lose.

Once again great opinion.i agree that it is one of the most underrated matches but not the most..
Some us are not liking it cause we want more hardcore matches as speciality ones(i'm not one of those).Personally speaking it is one of the best matches of all time(the ironman matches generally)..
One of the best matches in the history of pro wreswtling is The Ironman match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania XII..The score ended 0-0 and Bret Hart announced that he retains the title but moments later Gorila Monsoon ordered the match to go on sudden death..the first guy who scores pinfall or submission is the winner...
It was really exciting and HBK won..

Another match was Triple H vs Chris Benoit after Backlash 2004 as far as i remember and Benoit grabbed a last second victory with the help of Eugene...
Also you can watch HHH vs The Rock at Judgment Day 2000 when Undertaker returned for the first time as a biker..
Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle on Smackdown...

here are the links ..incase you haven't seen these matches..especially the first it is one of the best ever...Enjoy...

here is the first part of Bret vs HBK(you can click next to them to the other parts..)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Def-gDLJgDo
i can't find the HHH vs Benoit one..DAMN!

The Rock vs Triple H here:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZDV9mjR-zKE

Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle here:

and since you are going to be excited about the last two mins asyou said..you must see the Lesnar vs Angle...Here Comes The Pain...!!

To Me The Iroman Man Makes or Breaks you. Your in There For an Hour, And For That Hour you have To Keep The Fans Entertained, While Trying To Focus on Destroying Your Opponent. Also When you Book The Ironman Match you have To Get People The Fans Want To See For An Hour. For Example a Great Ironman Match is Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels Because They are Two of The Best Wrestlers Alive. But if you Put The Great Khali And Batista in an Ironman match It's Gurranteed Most of The Fans Will Fall Asleep Four Minutes into The Match.

The problem with Iron Man matches is that it sometimes does get somewhat boring during the middle parts when very little is going on, and often fans get bored since they know that it will only really get exciting at the end. Like in the Michaels vs. Hart one at Wrestlemania, you can see the fans begin to get bored throughout the middle. Also, iron man matches need some falls. That was another problem with Hart vs. Michaels and why I consider Triple H vs. Rock, iron man, better. In Trips vs. Rock, the iron man matches was so exhausting, ordinary moves, like a sleeper and a DDT, actually won falls. Hart vs. Michaels, it went over an hour without a fall, which is sort of unrealistic, and would have been better as a sixty minute match instead of an iron man.

As for most underrated match, I'd go with a two out of three falls. There's just so much you can do with that stipulation, it's the holy grail of match ideas.

When u get 2 wrestlers who are brillant in the ring, like HBK and Kurt Angle then yes, but some wrestlers i just couldnt watch for a hour long iron man match. they should be used more often though. HBK and The Rock, id watch that for 3 hours!

I agree and intead of Taker and Batista in Hell in a Cell they should be in an Ironman match. They were tied for wins so that would be a great tie breaker.

IM GOING to assert THE MVP-MATT HARDY FEUD is one among the main UNDERATED FEUDS so some distance....I mean, THEY the two FEUDED AND COMPETED under NON- WRESTLING activities, AND THIS SET THE degree UP FOR MVP'S extensive HEEL PUSH. IT develop right into a physically powerful FEUD, yet i don't REMEBER a lot of human beings stating IT OR something... yet another could be CHAVO GUERRERO AND CM PUNK....THEY the two positioned up some great fits, yet yet, not a lot of human beings observed IT.. BQ- UM.....UNDERTAKER - element FEUD? I mean, THIS STORYLINE LASTED FROM SURVIVOR sequence AND as much as severe regulations (ONE night STAND) AND IT develop into undesirable. IT develop into actually a similar element each and a week, THAT IT develop into becoming older....AND yet, some human beings have been saying ON HOW THIS FEUD develop into great, even nonetheless it incredibly WASN'T.....THEY positioned up some great fits, yet each thing ELSE besides THAT develop into undesirable. IT develop into constantly CHAVO, BAM, KURT, ZACK, AND VICKIE ATTACKING THE UNDERTAKER each WEEK, THAT IT develop into only GETTING STALE....

I agree that they are great. However they need two real talented wrestlers with good stamina to compete in them.
