It is all personal/cultural view. Any food you BELIEVE works as an aphrodisiac works.

I live in the U.S.A. (Idaho) and sell meat goats. I have customers from all over the world coming to my farm and butchering here. I have had very interesting conversations with folks about items they want because it reminds them of home, or "makes them feel like a man."

Aphrodisiac foods my customers have requested ("makes them feel like a man," usually accompannied by cupping a hand in front of the groin, like they are holding a big "package"):

Deer hunted with, and brought down with Salki dogs
Llama
Camel
Guinea pigs (yes, I mean the small furry critters you see in pet stores)
Certain rare birds
Wriggle's chewing gum (remember gum is illegal in certain countries)
Certain spices (usually rare, and very hot/spicey)
Doves hunted with falcons/hawks
Cat (as in domestic housecats)
Raw kidney of goats eaten here fresh from the animal while butchering

As you can see from the above list, aphrodisiacs are terribly cultural. Of course something forbidden, or illegal can very much be an aphrodisiac....like chewing gum.

For American men, it's actually proven that something baked with the heavy smell of cinnamon is THE biggest turn on food. It reminds them of their childhood, makes them feel safe and happy, as well as giving them thoughts that their wife is thinking happy/loving thoughts of them.

If you BELIEVE it will work, 99% of the time, it WILL work.

they say oysters and chocolate, however the myth of aphrodidiatic foods has long been disproven.
I don't think there really is such a thing as an aphrodisiac unless you put some extra drugs into it.

Aphrodisiacs are psychological basically. Alcohol makes a shy person less shy.

It isn't so much a food but a conditioning to a food...

So say you like a rare treat of raw oysters... and then you have good sex... then you think about that sex every time you think about raw oysters so in the future you eat the raw oysters and you are thinking about good sex and you have your aphrodisiac...

No.
Do you really want someone to love you, or at least engage in sexual relations, because you drugged this person?

Aphrodisiacs are little different from date rape drugs.

Try talking to her. And LISTENING when she feels something is important.
