I'm not a Britney fan, I never was. I must say that BlackOut is by far her best music she has done compared to her crap music she had when first starting out.

I guess now she is appealing to young adults which is why to me the album has this sleaziness about it, it's not typical dance music.

What do you think of the album if you had heard it?

*in case you are wondering, my sister bought the album which is the why i listened to it, she's been playing it here on the computer for the past week.

i personally think the album deserved the #1 spot in billboard. but since billboard is completely biased and preferred the eagles to britney, they changed the rules and the chart policy 11 hours prior to announcing the charts. unfair? sure..since most people no longer see her as britney the entertainer, but instead she's seen as the bad mom, the bad role model..the bad everything. people forget she actually makes amazing music, not to mention she's a worldwide phenomenon. they choose to see her personal dramas instead of listening to her music.

"blackout" is her best work and billboard deprived her of the honor. but you know what? she still managed to land the #2 spot in the chart in the mist of all of her bad press and pr. not to mention she did absolutely no promotion for her album. so that says alot don't you think?

2nd place? her album still feels like first to me.

Britney's new album is a dead cat bounce.

In economic terms, investors say that no matter how far a market falls, it will always go back up eventually, even if temporary, and this is called a dead cat bounce. The saying came from the expression that a dead cat will bounce if dropped from high enough.

That is why Britney's album might not sound that bad. She's fallen so far, so fast, that the fact that the album is not a complete, utter waste, makes it seem like she is moving upward, when in reality, it is just a dead cat bounce.

I will admit I'm not the biggest Britney fan, but the new album really rocks it. Sadly, most people won't really see past her personal life. The CD is full of synthesized music, but it is by far her best. Definitely going to keep it's place on the billboard charts for a while.

It's ok. All the songs sound like standard club songs.

Her squeaky little non- voice is covered up by others voices and other stuff. I find it amazing this girl has gotten rich by singing when she can't sing.
