I can't play sims 2 becuase of this problem.?

Okay. i have sims 2 installed but didnt install my 3 other expansions. Sims 2 or neither expansions wont work. It says i installed the sims 2 game sucsessfully. I try to run the game, and the starting screen shows up. You know where its a white screen and the logo but not in the full game yet. Once it pops up after a 10-20sec wait, it dissapears as normal and the game does not show up. The screen just goes away. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

I had something like that happen once when I installed an expansion package - I believe it was Vacation - to the Sims I already had on my machine. I had to call the Sims people and they told me there is a certain order the games have to be installed or they won't work. I don't remember what the order was but if you call them, you might find that is the same thing that's happening to you.

If there is someone else out there who knows the correct order, maybe they can tell you. All I know is it's not in the order listed.

Do you have a good enough Graphics card? That Could be the Problem. I have a Nvdia 7600 GS and I can Play the game at high!

I even have the comparable difficulty its the certainty which you have a sluggish computing gadget I even have curler coastefr multi-millionaire 3 and prefer if i end for a definite volume of time it is going to start to flash a brown shade and it dependes have been i end like if im around animals it gose brown and if im around grass it flases pink and if im by employing holiday it flashes orange :p desire i helped

why do so many people have problems with this game? I ahve never had a problem! All you can do is reinstall, or check to see if your computer has the requirements to play the game.

if youre on vista, right click and click on run as administrator. if not on vista, try looking in the game folders for a manual. if all else fails, go on the ea website and use their help centre.

have you tryed uninstalling in and then re-installing it . something could have gone wronge when you tryed the first time . your game might be scratched or ruined somehow .
