Anyone else annoyed by these type of questions? I don't get why these people who submit their pics make really stupid, deforming poses like puckering their lips, widening their eyes, and looking to the side. It's f***ing annoying. But it is so tempting to open these links! What's everyone else's thoughts?

I also think it's VERY annoying. Some people have such low self esteem that they have to ask random people on the internet who's opinion shouldn't even matter, if they are pretty or ugly. It's really, really sad. Those types of questions should be banned cause it's not like it's giving them any knowledge, which is really what Yahoo Answers is about. Unless you're in the Polls section.

I think that if they want to do it, then they can do it. I am pretty sure that it si against yahoo answers rules though. I do agree with you though, it is really annoying, and I usually tell them that they are ugly and that they need to either get a life or get plastic surgery. But then again if they want to waist there time listening to a bunch of complete strangers tell them what they think about them, then I guess they have every right to do that.

I agree. I mean maybe if they had a purpose to it but it seems to me lots of them are looking for compliments or being unreasonable. Also, the pose you describe annoys me the MOST. Ugh! It's like the pose you see all those clone girls doing on MySpace ,right? I HATE it. They look so freaking dumb.

These individuals are looking for attention, they all look in a mirror at some given time, so if opening the links is tempting to you, keep up the good work.

I don't know why people feel the need to get validation from complete strangers. They either have low self-esteem or want everyone to tell them that they're cute/pretty/hot. Who would want to hear, "Oh, man, you're ugly!" It's sad, really. And 99% of the time, it's young women asking this question.

It all has to do with psychology, much like the word "sale" will lure shoppers, or the word "free" will induce one to investigate the offer. Stating there is a "pic inside" functions the same way.

I think it's unwise of people to put their pic on here when you don't know who is looking at it - they are usually 12 or 13, and for them it's fun, but it's better to keep your pic off of the internet. Just think if your neighbor was looking at the site - then they would recognize you and read your Qs and As. Do you really want to share so much???????????

I agree. These people need to get a major grip on their self esteem and quit worrying about what other people think. It's such a shallow question and a complete waste of time.

Sooo where's your pic? Huh? You know you can pick and choose the questions you actually want to answer....you don't want to check out a dumb picture then don't pull up the question to answer it. It's quite simple really. Don't want to be annoyed....don't click on those questions to answer them!

People just want to look at there pics and rate them.Girls just want to look pretty but they only look "pretty" for like 2 seconds infront of the camera otherwise they are normally fuggly
