My mom and I need help. My brother has been VERY whiney these past couple of days!!! Today, ALL morning he's been crying! We've fed him, let him crawl around, changed him, put him to sleep, HE DOESN'T STOP CRYING!!!! It's been like this for 5 hours!! We need to know what's wrong!!! He's usually not like this but today is very crazy.

And after we were about to head off to go eat somewhere, he cries even HARDER and LOUDER, and he pukes all over himself.

I HATE seeing him cry, it makes me sad. I just don't know how to help it, so anyone please let me in on ANY advice? I want to raise this kid just right.

His tummy could be upset, if he is on formula he might have a milk protine allergy, and that would upset his tummy (making him spit up) he might even be collic, and theres really not that much you can do about that. I would take him to the Doctors and have him checked out, they will be able to tell you if he has the allergy and have you switch to a different formula like Nutramagine. My daughter was like that and they put her on that formula and it was wonderful!!!! I hope this helps out!!!

If hes a year old and stops crying when you hold him, then hes clingy, he wants your attention and you to play with him.

How old is he? Have you tried giving him a bath and giving him a massage? If he likes baths, let him play for a little while in the water. That is what I do with my daughter. Do you think he may miss someone? He also may have gas build up or has to poop.

Take this child to the hospital or doctor. If you can't get to a Dr. today, seeing as it is Saturday, take that baby to the emergency room!

maybe he is teething?? or maybe something is hurting him and you dont see it, like perhaps he has fractured a bone or something. Check his gums and see if there are teeth getting ready to break through, if thats the case, baby orajel. If he continues to scream perhaps he should be taken to the doctor for a complete examination.

Sounds like colic - have you tried the baby massage colic routine?

Worked on my son.

Ask you health visitor or look on the net.

All the best.

this baby may be really sick. take him to the emergency room and have them check him out. give them all the details...
THIS IS SERIOUS! GO NOW!

this is not normal.. put yourself in his shoes.. what would you want your family to do if you acted like this? if he has been whiney, he is sick.

Is it possible he's getting his one year molars in? Does he have a fever?

Give him some tylenol (check for fever though so you can monitor it if he has one) and see if it helps him feel better.

He obviously doesnt feel good. poor guy.

If he is crying non-stop for hours, he could be sick. Take him to a doctor.

At one it could be either because he's teething or doesn't feel well. Maybe he has an ear infection or is cutting his molars??

i am afraid your brother is spoiled. the only way to break him of that is to let him cry it out for a couple of days.and when you notice him behaving and not crying when not being held, praise the behavior.you may need to invest in some earplugs tho. good luck.
