I never really knew why I was being bullied in grade school and junior high... I thought there was something wrong with me...

But now, I look back at what the bullies in my hometown have become and I understand quite clearly...
I was sooo much better than them, and they knew it at an early age.
They saw that I was young, cute, intelligent and friendly. They saw that I was going to be successful in ways that they would never realize.
They tried to stop my destiny and failed.

Now they are a bunch of drunk hillbillies wasting their lives in trailer parks and wal-mart parking lots....

Theyare people who for one reason or another need to control and have power over another person. They are not usually strong enough to stand up to people of their own size, sex, age etc - so pick on someone younger, weaker or smaller than themselves so there is a greater chance of success. This feeling of empowerment makes them feel better about themselves.
They often have low self esteem having been bullied themselves or punished themselves by someone.

When I came to the United States (legally) I was able to get a well paying job in construction. After a few years my supervisor informed me that I either had to quit or accept the same pay he was giving the illegal immigrants he hired. Obviously you have never lost your job and means of supporting your family to illegal immigrants. On a side note. In order to recieve healh care, free education, and other benifits in Mexico you must prove you are a Mexican citizen. The United States is being critized for attempting to adopt the same rules and policies that Mexico and other South and Central American nations have been enforcing for years.

because they hide their true feeling inside and they are hurt some how , beside showing that , they perfer to bully others to make themselves feel good and happy , thinking is the best way to ignore their own problem, probably they don't mean it , but it the only way for them , i can tell, i ask that question too, i mean if u see them outside the school , u wouldn't see them as mean person , maybe sad or depress.

To make themselves seem better than they are. Bully's are walking talking garbage who have no life, and they feel good when they put someone down.

Power and Control are the genisis of ALL bullying behaviour!

Why they need to flex that power and control can be discussed until next year... but in the end it always boils down to power and control

Nuff said!

To make themselves feel good they feel as though they have to make someone else feel bad.
I used to get bullied and I hated it, but now I hardly do.
Hopefully I won't anymore.

They think they are getting recognized as the "big man". They are usually people who actually have lots of insecurities. Also, if you really let them have it, they will leave you alone. They don't want to deal with people who will fight back.

They have hidden issues themselves. Maybe they are bullied at home, either by a sibling or a parent.
