Nothing, except maybe scorch the enamel on the top of the microwave's interior. The resistivity of a flame is much too high to interact significantly with the microwaves.

Followup. I just tried it with a lit candle. No effect. The wax doesn't even get warm (the microwaves are tuned to heat water).

It would form microwave plasma - the gas of the flame would be given more energy forming a plasma. It would flash - like sheet lightning. It should not damage the microwave - sink the match into some cheese - as this will keep is straight and DO NOT leave it on for very long.
