They dont work! The switch doesnt work. So i was wondering how much it would cost to fix them? I wana get an idea so i dont get ripped off.
Its a 98' chevy S10

1. Check the fuse box first.

2. It might also be the wiper delay circuitry. There was a recall on this part. May be fixed free by dealer. You can call a dealer with you VIN number and see if your truck has been repaired yet or not or if it is even subject to the recall

3. The wiper motor is not that expensive 69.95 but the labo rmight be depending where you go.

Turn it on,wiggle the wiring plug which plugged into the wiper motor,if motor runs,remove the circuit board (with 3 Torx screws) and solder the cracked joints,use a magnify glass,you will see the cracked solder joints on the board,right where the harness plugged in.

there was a recall on the windshield wipers on s10 and sonoma trucks

a circuit board was cracking and causing the wipers to quit

i got mine fixed for free at the dealer!

First, check the fuse to see if it is good. If not, replace it yourself.
