The free version of Limewire is OK, Pro is better but not by a long shot. As far as security for these its OK. It all depends what you download!! And i dont recommend leaving the app open all the time.

get free version of limewire from internet...
install it and download limewire pro from lime wire itself...this
is the way to get limewire pro free without ending up paying

SIMPLY TRY WWW.LIMEWIRE.COM OR TRY WWW.DOWNLOAD.COM........BUT YU SHOULD HAVE JAVA INSTALLED ON YOUR PC.....IF YOU DONT HAVE IT ,GET IT FROM WWW.JAVA.COM......EVERYTHING I MENTIONED IS FREE.....AND SAFE....HOPE MIGHT HELP YOU...
