I don't think I would ever go up to a guy and say Hey I heard you like me! All you can do now is wait and see if he makes a move to maybe ask you to hang out or something..he probably laughed because he was uncomfortable with you being so blunt about it.

Be happy he does not like you because who would want to go out with someone so rude. Although it seems awful now one day you will forget about it....I would consider the kinda friend not a friend and would not associate with them anymore.
I am sorry this happened to you. I've had something similar happen to me before and I am now married to an awesome man who is way nicer and sexier then that boy. Oh yeah and that girl is now a single woman who has nobody.
