I'm not knocking Edwards but as for endorsements, heh, he's really got something worth mentioning there as far as I'm concerned. Maybe I'm wrong.

Endorsements are only as valid as those that want to pay attention.
Ben and Jerry's would be pretty far down on the totem pole as would an endorsement from the current president. An endorsement from a powerhouse, such as IBM, Microsoft, the Black Caucus, or even the ACLU would have a hell of a lot more influence.

It might be worth something in Vermont or from the people dumb enough to pay $3.50 for a pint of ice cream, but that's about it.
