Because 'Claire' is probably the reason why the male population watch Heroes. I'm sure Peter needed to save Claire to replicate her powers of reconstruction to then go on and be a cutey-pie and save the world, perhaps in series 2? I'm only half-way through series 1.

i saved a cheerleader once but was arrested later on a DWI as i drover her home.her daddy got real mad and beat the crap out of me.i got back at him two years later when i slept whit his wife.
