Y2K was a scam from corporations to buy tons of their products. Does anyone else think that about the new doomsday prophecy?

I'm not sure, but that's pretty interesting. I love watching people go crazy when these hoaxes come around..watching people buy a $4.00 case of water for $30.00 (yes, it was done)......so funny.

Y2K wasn't a scam it just wasn't as big a deal as people thought it was going to be.

There is any number of reasons that 2012 is thought of as doomsday, but the question is which calender are people using? Could be, then again I would take it with a grain of salt. Astrology tends to sound accurate, but not to be so.

The Doomsday Scare has been going on for thousands of years. The day after 12/21/12 it will start in all over again.

You know some people really have to much time on there hands...Think about it....we are in 2007...if this was real, don't you think we would hear more about from reliable sources?
When the time comes, and it will, I just hope I have my loved ones around.....I wouldn't put much faith in this prediction...but yet we never could have imaged 911 would happen either.
Just enjoy you life....it's always too short no matter what you do..enjoy

Jesus said,"Live one day at a time, let the days own troubles be sufficient for the day". Plus not to be anxious.

That is the best advice to live by.
Yesterday is gone & tomorrow is not here, yet.
One day at a time & do a great job of living that day. Easy, really, if you think about it.

Fear stops us all living the right way.

Considering that's still 5 yrs away...I doubt that it's gonna be an issue.

Not only that....but are there even any Mayan's around to give truth to this? If they are all dead....then obviously they had no idea what they were talking about since they didn't know about their own demise.

It was predicted by the Mayans. The end of the cycle of the 5th sun. I hope it isn't true but looking at the state of world affairs it wouldn't suprise me.

Please believe me when I say this: Only God knows ALL!
People have been Predicting things since the beginning of time, for the Recognition of it all.
It only frightens people into doing things they would normally not do.
Do not let "Man" frighten you into buying or doing anything rash.
Let God guide and direct your life, as HE is the Almighty, and all Merciful, but most of all the All Knowledgeable, after all, God is the Creator of all things.
HE knows and only HE knows.
So go to God and Pray to HIM, HE will give you the answers and show you the way on all things going on in your life.
Seek the Lord in all you do.
May God Bless You and Yours
