tell the math instructor that you don't feel comfortable with 11th grade and you want to move down a little. Trust me it works (I'm in sixth grade and i do advanced work to.)

Don't sell your self short and don't become lazy. Everything is going to be hard at some point. All things just don't come easily......I would say take the time and study a little harder.
Math is an important subject and one most American are under scored.........If they put you in an 11th grade math course then you most have scored high and are gifted in that subject. Don't take the easy way out. Apply your self and learn........When things get tough the tough keep going.....don't become another under achiever.........

You have a lot of really good advice here. Just ask your instructor to slow down a little. I am proud of you. I know a lot of 11th graders who cannot do 6th grade math. You rock.

Just come right out and say it. Let the instructor know that you need to slow down a little. Talk to your parents too and maybe they can talk to the instructor with you. Best of luck.

psh. i'm in 11th grade and i'm taking pre cal and it's hard for me. i can barely keep a B. but i'm just bad at math. i have been since 7th grade (algebra). but if you are at such an advanced level at such a young age, you are GOOD at it. it gets hard and then some things are easy. that's just how it is. you should work at it. get some help from the teacher or a tutor. and if your grade continues to drop then talk to you teacher and/or counselor and see what they think about moving you down.

well first of all you could get a tutor to help you understand, and if that does not work that talk to your teacher and ask if he/she can help you after school. If it still is not helping then tell your teacher the truth and he/she will probaly let you drop down a grade or two for math
:)

Tell him your in 6th grade. You have 5 more years until you have to do this stuff. tell him it's really hard and maybe you can try 7th or 8th grade math. Something that is around your grade but still advances you. He should understand. Your in 6th grade. You still need to be a kid. I'm in 7th grade and I still need to be a kid. I hope this advice helps.

11th grade? okay wow good job. Your math instructor should be proud of how good you are doing, but tell him/her its getting a little tough, and him/her should understand, i mean your doing really good already!

Why in the world are you in sixth grade and doing eleventh grade work? If it is too hard tell your teacher. He will not get mad. If he is a good teacher he will want you to succeed and if it is too hard you wont. Tell him. Be honest.
