Here's a way to make a hotpack at home with what is probably already there: Put some rubber gloves on so you don't burn yourself. Take a wash cloth or small towel and make sure it is thoroughly wet with cold water. Wring all the excess water it out. Put it in a microwave oven for one minute on high. Don't put it in for a lot longer than that or it can catch on fire once it dries out, which it can also do if it isn't thoroughly wet. You'll have to reheat it every 10 minutes or so to keep it hot. Add new cold water and wring it out again so you know heating it for one minute is safe. If you don't have a working microwave oven, you'll have to just use hot water on a washcloth. Wishing you good luck and good health.

I wouldn't. Repeated nuking of the rubber will quickly cause it to deteriorate. Heat the water up in the microwave then pour it into the water bottle.
You COULD nuke the water inside the rubber bottle but the rubber will be too hot to put against ones body.

This is the best: get a washcloth and get it wet. Not too dry or too soaked. Put it in a baggie and microwave it for 20 seconds. It will be very warm. You can pop it back in and heat it up again every 20 mins. Just make sure you don't microwave it so long that it melts the plastic or burns you when you pick it up. Hope this helps.

Definitely not. At best it would damage the rubber in no time at all, or worse still, if left in too long, the build-up of steam could burst the bottle with disastrous consequences.
I only fill my bottle from the hot tap. This way it is never too hot to burn you and the bottles last much longer.

Much simpler and safer to heat the water in the microwave and pour into the water bottle. If it explodes from expansion, you will be buying a new microwave, water bottle and have a huge mess.

You would need to keep it open so it does not pop. That would be hard seeing as the bottles are flat on the side and the microwaves are short - making it harder to put the bottle in something to keep it upright and then put all that in.
Also, the radiation will probably have a bad, cumulative effect on the bottle.

It would be safer to heat the water in something like a Pyrex measuring cup first than put it in the water bottle. You don't want to get burninated by the bottle when you touch it.

Check to make sure the threading on the bottle is not a metal component.
