If all you want to do is eat sleep and work long days. You make a boat load of money. Everyone starts out at the bottom. To get to the top you have to start at the bottom. The work days are long, but the hardest thing is getting along with everyone out there. You live with the people you work with, so it can be difficult. Good luck

Great food, and high pay. It can be some pretty hard 12 hour shifts at times, but when you're not setting up or breaking down the thing, it's not bad. Everybody but the engineers starts at the bottom. It's the only way to get to know all aspects of the job.

In the long run, you'd do better in the merchant marines, if you're looking for a job that's also a lifestyle.
If you're looking to work hard and get paid, being a roustabout ain't bad. 12 hr. days, lots of food, and good opportunities once your feet are in the door.
