and to show what's in your heart?

Most of the time that's why I haven't progressed any higher than 'Supervisor.'
My motto as such is "If you don't want to know the truth then don't ask me the question" but at the same time if I have been told something in 'confidence' then that's where it stays and my 'motto' goes out the window.

As to matters of the heart I am nothing but a coward.

Always.....even when it means a personal loss..... One of the reasons I was not more successful in the military is the fact I never hesitated to speak my mind. Twice I told two differnt senior officers, in front of everybody that I could not trust them because they were liars.....needless to say it did not do my career any good.
The only time I do not speak my mind is when it hurts others and there is no chance for improvement. It does no good to tell someone they are an idiot if they can not change.

Never do or say anything negative unless there is a chance of a positive result.

My "problem" if you want to call it that, is that I never cared what other people thought about me, so yes, I have always had the "courage" to speak my mind. Including letting someone know if I didn't like them or something they were doing. But I also let people know if I like them or like what they are doing.

I used to do it all the time when I was younger...speaking my mind...and people labeled me as a trouble maker. So now, I usually do not give my opinion until asked. And, I always try to show what is in my heart.

Speaking your mind with grace and tact is a fine and courageous quality. Simply opening your mouth and letting your thoughts spill out is stupidity (even if they're true).

I speak my mind tactfully and respectfully. That doesn't mean I tell people what they want to hear or sugar coat things.

I'm a very transparent person. And frank and honest. I say what is on my mind but I try as much as possible not to hurt someone's feelings by tempering my words with a bit of kindness. I show what is in my heart, by my actions and by words. There is no necessity to hide what is inside me, what my feelings are and what I think of a person.

Mind? - Yes. Most of the times, I will speak it out becuase I do not want to be unfair to the persons involved. They can defend or express their own opinions, knowing what I have in mind. It can be expressed bluntly or a little bit subtle in words.

Heart? - the same with PC.

YES. Speaking what's on your mind means freedom of speech and showing whats in your hear is freedom to do what you wanna do prompting that it satisfies the desire of your heart.

Yes I do. If you do not speak what you feel you will always be led by someone or something else. Speak up and you will have some control of your future.
