When you think about putting babies together from scratch, starting with a fertilized egg, it's a lot easier if the two different models (M and F) share as much of the same basic plan as possible. Women need nipples for nursing. It would take a lot of extra genes and developmental mechanism to make them go away in men - and they're not hurting anything. (Men and women are so much alike that, with hormone treatments, some men can lactate. Hormones turn the feature on or off.)

The only genetic difference between men and women is on the Y chromosome, and it has very few genes. There's not a lot of room there to spell out big, complicated differences between men and women. They have to be relatively small differences, and have to be the ones that are truly necessary for reproduction.

As far as practical use, some guys get enjoyable feelings when they're played with. Anything that makes sex more fun increases the chance of reproduction - maybe not what the individual always wants, but necessary at the species level.

Many scientists believe male nipples are left over from evolution much the tail bones, and our extra organs like the appendix.

We've done this one several times.
In the first few weeks of pregnancy the foetus's of boys and girls are identical, including nipples. Later the differences appear but boys retain the nipples.

They seem to have no apparent use, but try playing with and pinching your partner's during sex. Then you'll discover their function.

convinced, my gf's husband changed into somewhat overweight and had to be placed on Viagra to advance his testosterone because he began to provide milk. i wager one way or the different his hormone degrees snarled because of the added weight. It changed into really discussing on the time because his shirts must be talked about. Now if it really is acceptable for somewhat one or whatnot I absolutely haven't any clue. I doubt that a healthful guy must be able to provide milk notwithstanding. and if you did not pay interest in biology ~ adult adult males and women individuals both have testosterone and estrogen. it really is basically adult adult males are think to have a lot extra testosterone then women individuals and women individuals extra estrogen then adult adult males. check out a GNC save sometime.... contained in the mens section they have "estrogen blockers" for body builders :)

well, we evolved over million of years, somewhere down the line they must have been necessary for the male speciaes as well - for what, idk, but that is the oly thing I can logically think of as of to why guys have nipples.

We'd look pretty silly without them, but have you noticed on the beach, they are getting smaller? Soon, we'll only have dots like they used to draw on cartoons.
