You can have multiple internet providers available in one house. You can have DSL through the phone lines, Dial up through the phone lines, cable internet, satellite internet, wireless card internet, and some cities now offer internet through the power outlets.

If money's no object then get a second telephone line. You can't have two broadband providers on the same line
