LASER is an acronym which stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. The laser produces an intense, highly directional beam of light. The most common cause of laser-induced tissue damage is thermal in nature, where the tissue proteins are denatured due to the temperature rise following absorption of laser energy.

The human body is vulnerable to the output of certain lasers, and under certain circumstances, exposure can result in damage to the eye and skin. Research relating to injury thresholds of the eye and skin has been carried out in order to understand the biological hazards of laser radiation. It is now widely accepted that the human eye is almost always more vulnerable to injury than human skin.

Just rember dont be a fool, wrap up ur tool! Talking about if u have a laser pen.
Only use it on ididots, and stupid people AKA populars! Have fun!

It is coherent collimated light. That means it has a single wavelength and travels in a single direction, at least to a good approximation (it does spread out with distance). The high collimation means that it has a very high intensity at the spot it hits. For many lasers, this means that it could damage your retina. However, laser pens are in a relativity weak class of lasers (called Class 3a) which means that the human blink reflex is fast enough to prevent damage. It is quite bright, unpleasant, and frankly rude to shine it in someones eye, however, and damage *can* occur if the blink reflex is intentionally suppressed. It is a serious crime to shine it in the direction of an airplane in flight because it distracts the pilot.

IT IS LIGHT THAT CAN BLIND YA! say u had a mini torch that also has the laser on it, it would have3 a label instruction, or u could ask J.M!
